The tempered glass offers the most visibility into the kennel while also providing the most strength and scratch-resistance. We found that tempered glass is more scratch-resistant than plexiglass (lexan®) and it can be cleaned with any cleanser you choose! Most people choose to clean with a car windshield squeegee to remove the nose prints.

We learned years ago that by having the lower half of the door left solid, it greatly reduces fence-fighting! The more timid dogs can duck behind the solid portion; while the more aggressive dogs will still stand up to look around, they will eventually get tired.

We use 3/16" thick clear tempered glass because of its strength against active dogs.

The solid area of the door makes a great place for your logo or design!
